Course Grading

Class Participation:
Points given for participating in class discussions and adding to the class environment. If you miss class, points will be deducted from this section.

Remember: If you miss three or more classes, you will fail this class !

15 % or 150 points

• Ten Quizzes (25 Points Each)

• List of Quizzes with Due Dates can be found here

25 % or 250 points

• Project One = 100 Points

• Project Two = 150 Points

• Project Three = 150 Points

There will be nine lab assignments, each worth 25 points each
(Lowest Lab grade will be dropped)

Course Grading Scale

Grading for this class is calculated using a straight forward mathematical formula. You can determine you grade at any time by dividing the number of points earned by the total points. For example, if I have earned 950 points out of 1000 total points, the grade would be a 95 % or A-
