Online Portion of the Class

This will serve as the online discussion area for the questions and answers for CGA 250.

To post your answer go to GCC Elearning, under Discussion Question One

Focus Questions:

The Reading assignment is from “Who moved my Cheese” pages 13 to 68.

Please read these pages and while thinking about this question:

  • Thus far, How does this story apply to me?

  • How does this story apply to Computer Graphic Art?

  • Who do I resemble – Haw, Hem, Sniff or Scurry?

Please answer these question by using the reply button. You need to comment on at least two others students postings.

It is expected that you read the Chapters in the book and then reflect on the readings. After your reflections, you should carefully craft your answers. Please proof read your remarks. I would expect that each answer to each of the above questions would be a lengthy paragraph or two. Brief two or three sentence answers will received a poor grade.

Please post your answer for by April 15th at 10 PM. If you have not posted by this time, you will NOT received credit for this assignment.

Today's assignment:

Who moved my cheese - Finish the Book !

Now that we have read the entire "Who moved my cheese" and there is a "happy ending" what did you take away from the readings? What impact did the reading have on you? Did you share the lessons with anyone in your lives?

I hope you realized you have to be a combination of four characters...but always be aware of your cheese pile and the status of your cheese?

So the focus questions for this week are as follows:

  • In the CGA industry, why is it important to stay current on the latest hardware and software?

  • Do you realize that in the CGA industry, you will never be able to be cutting edge but you must develop a plan to stay up to date...what is you plan to stay up to date on CGA Software and Hardware?

  • What type of changes do you see in the near future in the CGA industry that you need to set a goal to stay up to date?

  • Finally, how do you think "Who moved the Cheese" lessons can be applied to our personal lives?

Please post your answer for by April 22nd at 10 PM. If you have not posted by this time, you will NOT received credit for this assignment.

To post your answer go to GCC Elearning, under Discussion Question Two
