Course Grading

Class Participation/Attendance: You are expected to attend every class. You will receive 10 points per class for attendance. Remember if you miss class, you will miss points in this area and Labs.

Projects:
Grading for each project is based heavily upon the projects. Projects will be graded based on:

(1) appropriate use of the tools
(2) thoroughness,
(3) craftsmanship
(4) artistic presentation.

  • Project One - Creating a Graphic for a Facebook Fan Page - 100 Points
    This project is due on February 23rd.

  • Project Two - Creating a Twitter background - 100 Points
    This project is due on March 22nd.

  • Project Three = 200 Points - Create a Simple Game in Flash Catalyst.
    This project is due on April 18th.

  • Project Four = 400 Points - Create a Web Site with three pages and the home page in Flash Catalyst.
    This project is due on May 3rd.

Course Grading Scale

Grading for this class is calculated using a straight forward mathematical formula. You can determine you grade at any time by dividing the number of points earned by the total points. For example, if I have earned 830 points out of 950 total points, the grade would be a 87 % or B+
