Part One Here are several photos a client has taken and the color balance is just not correct. You have been hired to color correct the images as best as you can. Please download the following images to your USB Flash drives: These files are JPEG format. Please save them to PSD format BEFORE you color correct the files. Save the files in PSD format. To finalize the project, you need to give the files back to the client in JPEG Maximum quality. It may be a good idea to save these files into a different folder to deliver to the client. Part Two: Then you will add color back into Photo. You can add a single color as discussed in Chapter four lesson 5. Or there is another method that will allow you to add color to a specific area on the photo/images. Open an image and duplicate the layer so there are two identical layers. Using the Layer Menu => Adjustments= Hue and Saturation command, remove all the hue and saturation from the image. This is another method for removing the color from ONE of the layers. Place the grayscale layer on top. Now, select the Background Easer Tools from the toolbar and easer down to the lower layer. This will allow you to select part of the image to be colorized and parts to remain grayscale. Using your artistic expression, please colorize at least five of theses photos: |
