Glouceste County College Foundation Gala 2012

• Save the Date -- New mailing procedures will allow an 8.5” x 5.5”

• Full Color - CMYK - with full bleed!
  • Should have the GCC Foundation Gala Spring Fling, the date and times, location. This will be a two sided mailing item
    
• Invitation -- design size is A8 which folds in half and the finished size is 5.375” x 7.785”
• Reply Card - A-6, Final trim, 4.5" by 6.25"
  • Should include all the information about the event, location, time, etc
    
• Program Cover -- Front Cover --8.5" x 11”, plus bleed or Back and Front Cover -- 11 by 17 inch

• Poster -- .The final size of the printed one was 11” x 17”

• Icon repeating element - to be used on the bottom graphic element of the program book

Important Note to the Online Students:

Students will be presenting their design ideas to the Gala Committee on November 2nd at 9:30 AM. While online students are NOT required to be present, if you are available to come in and "pitch" your design ideas, you are more then welcome. BUT your at least two mount (on artboard) are required for the committee to review by 9:20 AM on November 2nd. Presentations are going to be made in person in the Police Academy Room 310. Please arrive early for the presentations and make sure you are in business dress!

Project One - CGA 215
Due	November 2nd
Technology Art Requirements:	Students will create three unique designs concepts for the committee to select from. Students will create four mock up designs of the items listed above for this project. Professor Mary will explain the mock up and tell you how and why we made mock ups.
SubmissionRequirements:	The final illustration will be mounted on Art Board Your final mounted project will be presented to the class.
Grading Criteria:	You will be graded on both the artistic expression of your drawing as well as the use and implementation of the software.  If you create a very simple piece, you will loose points.  If you create a very artistic piece, but fail to use Illustrator correctly, you will loose points. Remember:  Balance = Art and Technology Grading Rubric
