Project Two– Navigation Elements
Due November 15th, 2011

During this semester, you will be creating and building a web site with original graphics and web pages. You need to create the following individual elements that will build to a web site.
Navigation Elements are graphical objects or buttons that allow the user to move from page to page or section to section within a web site. The button can have interactivity such rollover effects.
Note that the majority of the navigation systems appear in a horizontal or vertical format and are consistent from page to page with regards to placement and size.

Requirements:

Create and submit paper and pencil designs - at least three

Define what your primary navigation elements are for your web site

Select one design and develop the navigation system

Create Graphical Objects for the navigation system

Create rollover states - Normal, Over and Down - of each button

Submit the PhotoShop/Fireworks files and Gif or JPEG files to the professor.

You will present your final design to the class.
Submission Requirements:

Print out Three Color Copies - One for you to keep, one for Professor Mary and One for the Cinder Block Gallery

You will submit two electronic files to the Elearning.gccnj.edu web site. The files will be the following formats:

Original PSD (PhotoShop Document)

HTML Files
-
A JPEG File (for display on the web page

You may want to create a ZIP or Stuffit file of all the items from the Root Folder

On Art Board, you will mount you project for presentation to the class.
