Project One – Create Name Plate

During this semester, you will be creating and building a web site with original graphics and web pages. You need to create the following individual elements that will build to a web site. You need to select a color theme and font set for your project. Then you need to start to build the Name Plate.
A name plate is a logo brand that will appear on the top of every web page in your web site. It should have a graphical element and your name. If you are going to create a web site for an organization and not your personal/professional web site, the name plate should have the name and logo of the organization.

Note that the majority of the nameplates appear in the upper left hand corner of the page and are consistent from page to page with regards to placement and size.

Requirements:
Create and submit paper and pencil designs - at least three
You will build at least three unique or different designs
Select two or three web safe colors for your web site
Select two fonts for for web graphics
Select and develop on the computer on design
You will submit the final design in PhotoShop format
You will submit the final design via color print out.
You will present your final design to the class.
Submission Requirements:
Print out Three Color Copies - One for you to keep, one for Professor Mary and One for the Cinder Block Gallery
You will submit two electronic files to the Elearning.gccnj.edu web site. The files will be the following formats:
Original PSD (PhotoShop Document)
HTML Files
A JPEG File (for display on the web page
You may want to create a ZIP or Stuffit file of all the items from the Root Folder
