CGA 212 Course Projects

Project One – Create Name Plate

100 Points

During this semester, you will be creating and building a web site with original graphics and web pages. You need to create the following individual elements that will build to a web site. You need to select a color theme and font set for your project. Then you need to start to build the Name Plate.

A name plate is a logo brand that will appear on the top of every web page in your web site. It should have a graphical element and your name. If you are going to create a web site for an organization and not your personal/professional web site, the name plate should have the name and logo of the organization.

Here are some examples of name plates:

http://www.amazon.com/

http://www.ibm.com/us/

http://www.alibris.com/

http://www.refdesk.com/

Note that the majority of the nameplates appear in the upper left hand corner of the page and are consistent from page to page with regards to placement and size.
