As an advocate for students, the Dean of Students responds to general student concerns and supervises a variety of programs and services that support the learning experience and ultimately student success.

Working closely with the Dean of Students, the Student Ombudsman is the first line of contact for students seeking solutions to problems that have not been satisfactorily resolved through the traditional channels.

1. Maintain open communications 
   with your professor.
2. Read each syllabus several times 
   to stay on track.
3. See your advisor when you have 
   a problem.
4. Know college policies and how 
   they may affect you.
5. Learn and practice good time management.
6. Attend every class.

Students can Òdrop-inÓ and ask questions of the drop-in advisor at the following times.


Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 	
      9:00 a.m. - 4: 00 p.m.
         
Wednesday				5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Friday					9:00 a.m.  - 1:00 p.m.

How does a student contact an Advisor?


The HUB is Student DevelopmentÕs Information Center in the Student Services building. The staff of the HUB can direct a student 
* to their AdvisorÕs office or 
* to the Drop-in desk, or 
* schedule an appointment for the student with their Advisor.
