Lab Assignment One - Introduction Design - Due February 15th by 11:59 PM!

Using PhotoShop, Illustrator or InDesign, you will begin to create a Lab Assignment we like to call "Introduce Yourself
to us". Using the text tool along with graphics or photos, you will create a design that tells your peer about who you are and what types of activities you like to do in your spare time.

You can use graphics and photos from the internet for this project. The goal of this assignment is for your to have information about yourself so your teacher and classmates learning more about who you are outside of class.

Please use this lab assignment to express yourself. When someone looks at design, we should be able to know more about you and your interests. You can include graphics, photos and text. You can use colors of your choice.

This Lab Assignment is due February 15th at 11:59 PM !

Lab Assignment Two - Business Card Designs - Due March 1st by 11:59 PM

Using PhotoShop, Illustrator or InDesign, you will begin to create ten different and unique business cards or your graphic design business. Using the text tool along with the shape tools in the software, you will create designs of business cards. You MAY NOT USE any photos or clip art. Please make sure you are applying the principles of design we are learning such as contrast, emphasis and alignment to name a few.

This Lab Assignment is due March 1st at 11:59 PM !

Lab Assignment Three - Ad Redesign - Due March 22nd by 11:59 PM

Using PhotoShop, Illustrator or InDesign, you will begin to create five different and unique redesigns of the following Advertisement.

Using the text tool along with the shape tools in the software, you will create five different and unique designs of this ad. You may NOT use any photos or clip art. Please make sure you are applying the principles of design we are learning such as contrast, emphasis and alignment to name a few. This redesign should only be in black and white or grays.

Lab Assignment Four - ReDesign a Photography Workshop Flyer - Due April 5th by 11:59 PM

Using PhotoShop, Illustrator or InDesign, you will begin to create five different and unique redesigns of the following flyer for a Photography Workshop.

Please make sure you are applying the principles of design we are learning such as contrast, emphasis and alignment to name a few. Please select two colors to support your design.
