Projects:
Grading for each project is based heavily upon the artistic creation and expression of the projects. Projects will be graded based on:
(1) appropriate use of the tools
(2) thoroughness,
(3) craftsmanship
(4) artistic presentation

There will be six projects worth 75 points each.

You will submit your projects to the GCC ELearning System.

450 points

Take Home Exam - this will be an exam that you will complete at home using your textbooks and powerpoint slides.

200 Points

Lab Assignments:

There will be 4 design lab assignments each worth 50 points each.

Course Grading Scale

Grading for this class is calculated using a straight forward mathematical formula. You can determine you grade at any time by dividing the number of points earned by the total points. For example, if I have earned 600 points out of 650 total points, the grade would be a 92 % or A-.
